The ZENAIM keyboard can work only through a wired connection.

The app is compatible with the following OS versions.

Basically, we recommend that you connect the keyboard directly to your PC. If you use a USB hub, please use a powered one. A non-powered USB hub may not provide enough power for stable operation and may not be recognized.

・ We do not guarantee the operation of all conversion adapters and USB devices.

Please use a USB cable compatible with USB 2.0 at 12 Mbps or higher.
We recommend the genuine cable for the ZENAIM keyboard.
Please press the light shut-off button (FN key + Del) to turn off the lighting of the keyboard.

The serial number is printed on the app and on the product box.

1. Select [Devices] in the lower left corner of the home screen.
2. Select the device of which you want to know the serial number.
3. The serial number will be displayed on the right side of the screen.

The following four profiles can be saved in the on-board memory.
・ Common setting profile
・ MEM1 compatible profile

Kill clip is a function that saves a video clip of the screen for a certain period of time from the time the button is pressed. The length of the clip from the time the button is pressed can be set by the user. Please note that kill clip is not available on a Mac computer.
The MEM1-MEM3 keys save user profiles respectively. By pressing the MEM key corresponding to the profile you wish to invoke, the registered user profile will be reflected on the keyboard.
When active, the MEM1-MEM3 keys are illuminated with the following color:
Default: Purple

The included USB cable is USB 2.0 full-speed compliant, so it can be used for products compatible with the standard. However, we cannot guarantee the operation when the USB cable is used for products other than the ZENAIM keyboard. In addition, we are not responsible for any problems caused by using the included USB cable for products other than the ZENAIM keyboard.
The included USB cable does not support fast charging or PD charging.
Please dispose of keyboard items according to local waste separation methods.
Grip tape is not recommended due to the possibility of paint deterioration on the keycap surface.

ZENAIM keyboards are tenkeyless only.
No. In fact, California regulators do not require evidence of harm or even the potential for harm to humans before listing a chemical under Proposition 65. Instead, evidence from animal testing, even if conducted at exorbitant doses, is considered sufficient.
This warning is the result of a unique law passed in California in 1986 called Proposition 65. Proposition 65 requires the inclusion of a warning on products sold in California that may contain more than 900 chemicals that California regulators (as opposed to federal regulations and other state regulators) consider harmful.
ZENAIM products are sold throughout the United States. We can and do provide service to multiple states, including California. In order to avoid the potential risk of Proposition 65 costs and fines that may occurr when a product is brought into California without warnings, we decided to include these warnings regardless of the location of purchase.
Yes, ZENAIM products are safe to use as instructed. Our products meet federal and state laws (including California) regarding safety and restricted substances. A Proposition 65 Warning is a notification that a product may contain substances listed on the California Proposition 65 list. This list is extensive, subject to change, and includes substances found in products sold and purchased in California that are used or consumed in everyday life. For example, warnings are required for commonly used products such as coffee, vinegar, and fish.
For Proposition 65 purposes, the fact that a product meets federal and state safety standards is irrelevant. If a product contains even trace amounts of a chemical on the Proposition 65 list, it is the manufacturer's responsibility to prove that the amount is below the California minimum exposure level. What constitutes "exposure" is not well defined, and that decesion is often left to the courts. For manufacturers, the legal costs of challenging a Proposition 65 lawsuit are substantially high. Because providing a warning eliminates all of these potential costs and risks of litigation, ZENAIM and many other manufacturers have chosen to provide a Proposition 65 warning.
Yes. The California Proposition 65 list contains various examples of products that have been deemed safe by the FDA and/or EPA. Although the FDA and EPA have conducted human studies and determined that the product is safe, the same product is still listed on the California Proposition 65 list based on animal studies conducted at extremely high doses.
About the app
The app can be installed from the official ZENAIM website.

The app can be uninstalled by following the steps below.
■ Windows 10, Windows 11
1. Select [Start] > [Settings] > [Apps] > [Apps and Features].
2. Select [ZENAIM SOFTWARE] from the list.
3. Select [Uninstall].
4. Follow the on-screen instructions to remove ZENAIM SOFTWARE from your system.
■ Mac
1. Select the [Finder] icon in the Dock.
2. Select [ZENAIM SOFTWARE].
3. Drag [ZENAIM SOFTWARE] to [Trash].
4. When you are prompted for a username and a password, enter the name and password of your Mac administrator account.
5. Select [Finder] > [Clear Trash] and delete the ZENAIM SOFTWARE that has been moved to the Trash.
The ZENAIM keyboard can be used for basic text input without installing any apps. For detailed settings such as macros and writing, the app is required.
To login to your ZENAIM account on the app, please follow the steps below.
1. Select the guest user icon in the lower left corner of the screen..
2. Select [Login] in the upper right corner and enter your registered member email address and password.
3. Select [Login].
4. If you are not a registered member, please register an account by clicking [Create Account].
ZENAIM does not support SNS authentication. Please enroll as a member on the official ZENAIM website. Click here for registration.
The app can be used without logging in to your ZENAIM account.
Please note that if you change the settings of your ZENAIM keyboard without logging in to your account, your registered settings may not be saved.
To add a game to the list of game titles in the app, follow the steps below.
1. Select [Add Game] on the home screen.
2. The game titles that have been downloaded to your PC will be automatically displayed.
3. Select any game you wish to add.
4. Select the [Add] button.
Some game titles may not be scanned automatically. If a game title downloaded to your PC is not automatically scanned, please select [Rescan] or [Add Manually], and select the location where you want to save the game to complete the game addition.
You can check the version of the app by following the steps below.
1. Select [Settings] in the lower left corner of the home screen.
2. Select [Software]. The version information will be displayed.
You can change the theme of the app by following the steps below.
1. Select [Settings] in the lower left corner of the home screen.
2. Select [Themes] and change to your preferred settings from [Theme Settings].
You can change the language of the app by following the steps below.
1. Select [Settings] in the lower left corner of the home screen.
2. Select [Language] and change to your preferred setting from [Language Settings].
You can turn on/off automatic app starting by following the steps below.
1. Select [Settings] in the lower left corner of the home screen.
2. Select [Software] and check (ON)/uncheck (OFF) the checkbox for [Launch software on startup].
Key deactivation can be set by following the steps below:
1. Select the game title you want to configure on the HOME screen.
2. Select the device for which you want to configure settings.
3. Select [Disable Keys] from the tabs at the top.
4. Select the keys you wish to deactivate (keys to be disabled will be marked with the Disable Key icon).
5. Select [Confirm Changes].

Profile settings
Yes, it is possible. Download the application to the PC from which you want to import the settings, enter your login ID and password, and log in to apply the settings to your device.
The keys that can be assigned are F1 to F8; individual key assignments can also be set using FN+F1 to F8.
Device profiles for each game title can be set and viewed in the app by following the steps below.
1. Select the game title you wish to configure and check on the HOME screen.
2. Select the device you wish to configure and check.
3. Select the item you wish to set or check from the tabs at the top.
4. Perform the setup and confirmation.
5. Select [Confirm changes].
A pro player profile can be changed in the app by following these steps.
1. Select the game title to which you want to apply the pro player profile on the HOME screen.
2. Select the device to which you want to apply the pro player profile.
3. Select [Load Pro Settings] on the left side of the screen.
4. Select the pro player whose settings you want to load.
5. Select [Load].
6. Select [Confirm Changes].
*The Pro Player setting is for actuation only.
The ZENAIM keyboard does not allow profiles for individual games to be applied universally. If you want to use the same profile for all games, please set the profile from "Common" on the HOME screen.
The profile registered in "Common" on the HOME screen of the application will be applied. Additionally, when MEM1-MEM3 is selected, the profile saved in each key will be applied.
The number of profiles that can be registered to a single user account is the sum of one common profile and the number of games registered to the user account.
The profiles set for each device can be viewed in the app by following the steps below.
■To check the registration contents of the onboard memory
1. Select [Devices] in the lower left corner of the HOME screen.
2. Select the device for which you want to check the onboard memory.
3. Check the settings registered in the onboard memory.
■To check settings for each game title and common settings
1. Select the game title you wish to check on the HOME screen.
2. Select the device you wish to check.
3. Select the items you wish to check from the tabs at the top.
4. Select the key you want to check and confirm.
A reset point can be set in the app by following the steps below.
■To set a reset point for a specified key
1. Select the game title on the HOME screen, for which you want to configure settings.
2. Select the device for which you want to configure settings.
3. Select the key you want to configure from the keyboard layout.
4. Adjust the [RP (Reset Point)] bar under [Key Actuation] by moving it up or down, or by clicking the + or - buttons to set the desired value.
5. Select [Confirm Changes].
■To set the reset point for the entire keyboard
1. Select the game title for which you want to configure settings on the HOME screen.
2. Select the device for which you want to configure settings.
3. Adjust the [RP (Reset Point)] bar under [Key Actuation] by moving it up or down, or by clicking the + or - buttons to set the desired value.
4. Select [Confirm Changes].
To access the settings page for the kill clip feature, follow these steps.
On the settings page, you can configure audio (output and input), graphics (clip length, bitrate, resolution, frame rate), and storage (save location) settings.
1. Select [Tools] in the bottom left corner on the HOME screen.
2. Select [Kill Clip].
3. Change each setting to your preference.
User profiles can be accessed in the following ways.
■To access a profile registered to a MEM key
Press the MEM key corresponding to the profile you want to access.
■To access a user profile from the app
Launch the app and start the game registered in the app. The user profile registered for each game will be loaded. If the MEM key is not enabled, the common settings will be loaded when not using the game.
The MEM1-MEM3 keys can be set from the app by following the steps below.
■To set up from a device
1. Select [Device] at the bottom left of the HOME screen.
2. Select the device for which you want to set the onboard memory.
3. Select the one you want to set from MEM1-MEM3
4. Choose the settings you want to register to the selected memory and select [Register].
■To set the MEM key from a game
1. On the HOME screen, select the game title you want to set as the MEM key.
2. Select the device you want to set as the MEM key.
3. Select [Onboard Memory] in the upper right corner.
4. Select the MEM key you want to set.
5. Select [Register] or [Overwrite Registration].
6. Select [OK].
Key assignments can be set from the app by following the steps below.
1. Select the game title you want to configure on the HOME screen.
2. Select the device for which you want to make settings.
3. Select [Key Assignment] from the tabs at the top.
4. Select the keys you want to assign.
5. Select the operation you want to assign keys to from the list
6. Select [Confirm Changes].
Macros can be set from the app by following the steps below:
1. Select [Tools] at the bottom left of the HOME screen.
2. Select [Macro Function].
3. Select [+Create New Macro].
4. Select [Remember Macro].
5. Perform the operation you want to register in the macro.
6. Select [Save] to create the macro.
7. On the HOME screen, select the game title for which you want to set the macro you created.
8. Select the device for which you want to set the macro.
9. Select [Key Assignment] from the tabs at the top.
10. Select the key you want to assign.
11. Select [Macro] from the left tab.
12. Select the macro you have created.
13. Select [Confirm Changes].
Lighting can be set in the application by following the steps below:
1. Select the game title you want to configure on the HOME screen.
2. Select the device for which you want to make settings.
3. Select [Lighting] from the tabs at the top.
4. Set the lighting type, color, speed, starting point, direction, etc.
5. Select [Confirm Changes].
The actuation point can be set in the app by following the steps below:
If you type a key when setting the actuation point, you can see the amount of pressure you apply in the app’s UI as a reference for setting the actuation point.
■To set an actuation point for a specified key
1. Select the game title you want to configure on the HOME screen.
2. Select the device for which you want to make settings.
3. Select the key you want to set in the keyboard layout.
4. Move the [AP (actuation point)] bar under [Actuation of specified key] up and down or click +/- to set the desired value.
5. Select [Confirm Changes].
■To set the actuation points for the entire keyboard
1. On the HOME screen, select the game title for which you want to make settings.
2. Select the device for which you want to make settings.
3. Move the [AP (actuation point)] bar under [Whole Key Actuation] up and down or click +/- to set the desired value.
4. Select [Confirm Changes].
Care and maintenance
Use an air duster or blower to remove dust that is not adhering between the keys. When cleaning the keys, wipe gently with a soft, lint-free cloth that has been moistened with tap water and wrung. Do not use cleaning agents such as strong solvents and abrasives, including hypochlorous acid, highly concentrated alcohol, bleach, acetone, polish remover, thinner, and benzine, because they may damage the plastic. Never apply water or cleaning agents directly to the keyboard as this may cause malfunction.
Please do not remove the plate from the main frame.

1. Select Start > Settings > Time & Language > Languages
2. Select [Japanese] under [Preferred Language] and then select [Options]
3. Select [Change Layout] under [Hardware Keyboard Layout]
4. For the JIS layout, select [Japanese Keyboard (106/109)] and then choose [Restart Now]
For the US layout, select [English Keyboard (101/102)] and then choose [Restart Now]
■Mac
1. Select [Apple icon] > [System Preferences]
2. Select [Keyboard]
3. Select [Change Keyboard Type]
4. Press the key next to the left Shift key, then the key next to the right Shift key, one at a time as the PC prompts
5. For the JIS layout, select [ JIS(Japanese)] and select [Done]
For the US layout, select [ANSI(US, most of Asia, and others)] and select [Done].
This is not covered by warranty. Please try the following methods.
1. Disconnect the keyboard from the power supply as soon as possible in the event of a liquid spill.
2. Gently absorb the liquid with a soft cloth.
3. Remove the keycaps and place the keyboard upside down on a towel or other surface to absorb any liquid that comes out.
4. Leave the keyboard in a well-ventilated place for at least 24 hours to allow the liquid to dry completely before checking operation.

Disconnect and reconnect the keyboard. If it is still not recognized, check if the USB port is in sleep mode.
After creating or modifying the profile, please select [Confirm Changes].
The ZENAIM keyboard uses magnetic sensing, so the indicator may display a value greater than 0 if there are magnets nearby or if a steel desk is used.
Please be assured that the rubs that protrude from the KEY SWITCH may adhere to the board, but this is not a functional problem.
Warranty
Keycaps and key switches are not covered by the repair warranty. We do not sell individual parts.
Products without proof of purchase are not covered under warranty. If you purchased from the ZENAIM store, we usually have a record of your purchase and may be able to verify it.
